As I have been doing nothing other than school work for the past 2 weeks, I've been rather lacking in blog inspiration. It's my (hopefully) last term of school and things are rather hectic here. So as a result, I can think of nothing intelligent to post on my blog. Which means time for pretty pictures! (No brain work required!) These are from a 1925 issue of Photoplay.

Of all the various (iconic) hairstyles of the roaring twenties, my all-time favourite is definitively that like the actress here (in the wide brimmed straw hat) with long spiral/sausage curls. There's a cherub like sweetness to that look that appeals to me greatly.

I thought I recognised the actress in the third picture and yes, it's Jobyna Ralston, one of my favourite '20s actresses! I just did a whole post about her last week. I haven't seen that picture of her before though, so thanks for posting it up!
