I'm not sure about the term "defects", but I do love reading about the visual impact lines can have on our perception of size and length. It is possible create a dramatic optical illusion with your choice of clothing.

Like yourself, io frown at the word "defect" - I don not like reading, hearing or mentioning it. I'd rather call it a flaw at best.. not that the way anyone looks is in any way a flaw. We're just different, that's all.

Agreed - defects seems a bit harsh, but arguably we do each have figure strengths and weaknesses and I'm huge on playing up the good and downplaying the not-so-good, so I really enjoyed reading this article. Thank you for sharing more cool pages from the past with us, dear gal.
