Meow

Despite being April, the weather around here is decidedly chilly. To combat the cold weather, I have been wearing a lot of longer skirts. With thick stockings and ankle-length skirts, my legs stay toasty warm no matter what the temperature outside.

Longer skirts can be hard to wear without looking a little dumpy. I paired this tan skirt with a leopard print sweater and Victorian-style ankle boots. The black and leopard counterbalance the otherwise rather drab skirt. This skirt actually used to belong to my mother, but she thought it looked too dated. So yay! Free skirt for me!

In other news, my Etsy shop has a big sale going on right now. Most of the blouses, as well as a couple dresses and the bloomers, are all discounted. The sale lasts until the end of April so take advantage while you can! I don't have sales very often since my clothing is priced lower to start with, but I want to create some more pieces for summer which means I need to sell some current stock first.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

That's All.

  1. What a great way to dress up this skirt! I love that cardigan. Sometimes it just takes a little TLC and a great piece like your cardigan to make a piece like your skirt shine its brightest. Very chic!

    1. Thanks! Leopard print can be tricky to wear. I think the secret is to be very selective in what pieces you buy. I love this sweater because it has a very simple, classic shape.

  3. What a wonderfully lovely, classic ensemble. I adore leopard when it looks more posh than sultry, as is the case in this wonderful outfit.

  4. I have a tan skirt similar to this and I love it! I agree that it can be tricky to style but I think you did it flawlessly with your cute cardi and belt. I love your hat as well, it looks fantastic with your drop earrings :) It is warming up here for us finally, but I'm afraid that we might get another blizzard just to cap off this horrible winter haha.

    1. Thanks! It's starting to warm up here too, but the weather forecast still has snow for next week. I'm starting to think winter will never be over!
