More ephemera for my collection!

Yay! Goodies from the antique market! (Sorry some of the photos got a little cut off but my scanner wasn't quite large enough)
Postcard from December 4, 1908

The Chautauquan Magazine from 1883
(I am particularly looking forward to reading the section on Etiquette since studying old-fashioned etiquette is a hobby of mine)

Ad for stockings with Ginger Rogers (1951)

Ad for Mallory Hats (1946)

Ad for Singer Sewing Machines (1947)

And my personal favourite, an ad for Penthouse Platforms by Naturalizer (1946)

The most exciting thing about my purchases? There was a big sale on so I got everything for $13 including tax! I may have to head back next weekend since the sale lasts until next Sunday :)

  1. I have to say, you're quite thrifty, getting all of those for just $13. How did the magazine and the post card compare to the cost of the ads? Looking forward to what you pick up in the future! :)

  2. The magazine was $5, the postcard was $2 and all the ads were $3 each (before the overall discount).
