The Ideal Bathroom (circa 1910)

Isn't the fold-away bathtub the neatest thing ever?! Seems like an idea that would be great in a tiny house.

  1. I could do with a fold away bath in my tiny flat!

    1. I love small space design things like the tub. It can be quite ingenious what you can do in a small space.

  2. Hmm, the bath cupboard might be prone to damp...

    1. Yes, I suppose you would need to make sure the bathtub was totally dry and the taps weren't dripping before you folded it into the cupboard. Otherwise is might be a bit moldy....

    1. I am enjoying the series immensely so far!!! I knew I would like it but it's even better than I thought it would be. My mom has been watching it with me and she really loves it too. I've only seen the first couple episodes so far as I'm trying to ration them out. Thank you again! I've been sketching like crazy while watching them. As soon as my sewing studio gets put back together I may try out some new designs based on the series :)

  5. How charming! While there is something a bit appealing about the notion of a good sized tub in my bedroom (not the least of all because it would mean that I had a decent sized bedroom for sure!), I'd worry about what the moisture/condensation could do to the linens, wallpaper, even flooring. Still, I totally love the idea and wouldn't be opposed to it in a well ventilated house.

    1. Haha, yes I'm not sure how well it would do in reality. It's an interesting concept though.
